Stacy Kemp Ferrari is the founder and managing partner of Kemp Law Group, a personal injury law firm based in Trinity, Florida. A graduate of Stetson University College of Law (J.D., 2007), where she received the William F. Blews Award for outstanding pro bono service, Kemp Ferrari has practiced personal injury law in the Tampa Bay area for 18 years, handling car accident, slip and fall, motorcycle, truck, and wrongful death cases.
Under her leadership, Kemp Law Group has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for two consecutive years, with three-year revenue growth of 157%, and has repeatedly ranked among the Law Firm 500’s fastest-growing law firms nationally. Kemp Ferrari speaks with the media about Florida personal injury law, insurance claim practices following an accident, and what it takes to grow a law firm while keeping client service personal. “It’s nice to win trophies, but I’d rather win clients” is one of several client-centered mantras that dictate the inner-workings of her firm. Her business model, though not revolutionary, is implemented effectively and relentlessly. She emphasizes constant client interaction, pleasant conversation and a “can do” attitude to ensure her clients receive the best legal representation possible. Considering her firm’s revenue has grown by over 100% each of the past three years, her approach must be working.
What truly sets Attorney Kemp Ferrari apart from her peers is her commitment to the bay area’s community. Since starting her firm in 2008, she has made community involvement as integral to her firm’s business model as she has superior client service. With an ever-growing list of sponsorships, charities, and benefits, Attorney Kemp Ferrari aims to support the community that supports her. Perhaps no greater example of her philanthropic nature is her firm’s presenting sponsorship of the Chasco Fiesta (a nine-day festival benefiting more than 25 nonprofits locally).
The heart of Attorney Kemp Ferrari’s success lies in the fact that she is from this area and, even as a young child, she has always wanted this area to thrive. She attended River Ridge High School where she was very active in Future Business Leaders of America, as well as a number of other extracurricular activities. Then, she went on to Saint Leo University where she majored in Criminal Justice and earned National Dean’s List recognition multiple times. Finally, staying local once again, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. While there, she received numerous awards including the prestigious “ William F. Blews Award for outstanding pro bono service” and another series of Dean’s List awards.
