About
Ian Boettcher is a managing litigation attorney at Kemp Law Group, where he focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death matters. He is dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been injured as a result of another’s negligence, representing clients against both individuals and large corporations. Mr. Boettcher handles and oversees a wide range of complex cases, including those involving automobile, trucking, motorcycle, and pedestrian accidents, as well as premises liability claims such as slip and trip-and-fall incidents.
Mr. Boettcher earned his Bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, where he was a member of the varsity tennis team. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2003.
He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, where he spent four years developing significant courtroom and trial experience. He later transitioned to civil litigation, initially representing truck drivers and motor carriers. This experience provided him with valuable insight into the strategies used by insurance companies in defending personal injury claims.
Since 2010, Mr. Boettcher has devoted his practice exclusively to representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases, using his background to effectively advocate for those seeking justice. He remains committed to achieving meaningful results for his clients and guiding them through every stage of the legal process.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Boettcher enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with his wife and daughter.
