News: Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes motorcyclists, crashes into Church on 62nd Ave

PINELLAS PARK, FL – The driver of a Camaro had a fatal collision with a motorcycle before crashing into Our Lady of Good Hope and fleeing the scene, Fox 13 reports.

A man and a woman were on board the motorcycle when the driver of a red Camaro hit them. The driver then plowed into the church. Nobody was inside the church at the time of the collision. The driver then fled the scene before officers arrived.

The two victims on the motorcycle were transported to an area hospital by first responders. The man had life-threatening injuries. The woman died at the hospital.

Police say the Camaro was a rental. They urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them immediately.
