News: Port Richey man killed in motorcycle accident on U.S. Highway 19
PORT RICHEY, FL – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a sedan in Pasco County on Saturday night, according to The Suncoast News.
The accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 and Coventry Drive at about 9 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the 63-year-old motorcycle rider was heading south on U.S. 19 when he turned into the path of a northbound sedan driven by a 61-year-old Port Richey man and the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist, a Port Richey resident, was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. The FHP said he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
