News: Crash shuts down stretch of I-275 at I-4 interchange in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A stretch of Interstate 275 in Tampa was closed to traffic following a crash on Tuesday morning, according to Fox 13 News.
Police said the chain of events began at a lounge in Tampa, where there was an exchange of gunfire from people in several cars.
The cars took off following the shooting and two of them ended up crashing on I-275 south at the interchange with Interstate 4. There were minor injuries in the wreck but no details were released on who was hurt.
The drivers of both cars were taken into custody, and the driver and passenger in a third car were arrested later. Police said no injuries were reported from the shooting.
I-275 south at I-4 was shut down at about 2:30 a.m. as police investigated the incident.
