News: Bicyclist dies after being hit by vehicles in Lake Wales
LAKE WALES, FL – Police are investigating an accident that killed a bicyclist on a roadway in Lake Wales last week.
According to WFLA, the bicyclist was trying to cross the southbound lanes of U.S. 27 near State Road 60 when the incident happened on Thursday at about 6 p.m. He was hit by one vehicle and then by four more, police said, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported. Authorities did not release the victim’s identity.
