News: Pasco County school bus involved in crash with car
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL – A Pasco County school bus was involved in a crash with a car Thursday morning, sending one person to the hospital.
According to WTSP , the incident occurred in the area of Gall Boulevard and Tucker Road in Zephyrhills The Florida Highway Patrol said a car and a pickup truck had gotten into a collision on Gall Boulevard. The impact of that crash sent the car into the path of the school bus and those two vehicles collided nearly head-on, with the car ending up under the bus.
None of the seven middle school children who were on the school bus at the time were injured, Pasco Fire Rescue said. One person had to be extricated from the car and was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert. The person’s condition is not yet known.
The intersection of Gall Boulevard at Tucker Road was temporarily closed while the scene was being cleared.
