News: Pedestrian killed in St. Petersburg Tuesday night

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A pedestrian was hit and killed on Fourth Street North Tuesday night, Patch reports. The man was crossing the street at Ninth Avenue North and 11th Avenue North when he was struck by a southbound BMW.

The pedestrian died at the scene.

The driver of the BMW stayed and cooperated with investigators. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors.

Both Ninth Avenue North and 11th Avenue North were closed during the investigations.
